The Snap Shot infrared camera went through several iterations of SLA prototypes before moving on to RTV molding. Urethane castings were created for short-run production needs. Rapid tooling was then introduced to produce spec material prototype/production parts. A total of four aluminum molds were used to create polycarbonate/ABS front and back housings in addition to four other Sanoprene components.
