The need for more sampling and low-volume production parts naturally evolved for Vista Technologies, LLC™ to bring injection molding machines in-house. It’s a huge benefit to have the tool making and plastic injection molding in the same facility. This allows for better communication, faster turnaround and more success during the sampling and when running low-volume production.
Sampling & Prototyping
Sampling molds remains a staple at VistaTek™. We understand the importance and speed of shooting your tools to get your spec material parts for functional testing. We provide you the luxury of being on-site to see the first parts off the tool. Multiple materials can also be shot during the first sampling to qualify your material choices. VistaTek has the ability to run a wide variety of engineering grade materials for your prototype injection molding.
Bridge Tools
A great way to Manage Risk going into production is to use VistaTek’s tooling as a bridge tool until your production tooling source goes on-line. Our rapid tooling gives you the flexibility to run thousands of custom injection molded plastic parts out of spec material for your production. This tooling can be used for initial production or as a back up option if your production tooling is delayed or awaiting modification.
Production - Low-Volume Injection Molding (LVIM)
VistaTek runs two shifts and has the capability on our injection molding presses to run “lights out” with the use of robotic pickers attached to the press. From running manual hand pick-outs, to overmolding plastic, to fulfilling short run injection molding production orders, we can scale to fit your production needs. The quality of VistaTek’s tooling does not take a back seat to anyone. Day in and day out, our manufactured plastic parts are put into some of the most demanding industries with great success.
The materials for your plastic parts that VistaTek can run are endless. We can run our in-house materials or you can supply us with your custom material. We can run, but are not just limited to:
